Exclusive Books Killarney
We have a vacancy for a Cashier at our Killarney store. (6 Months Fixed Term Contract)
Outputs for the Job
– Deal with customers face to face, and telephonically
– Process sales as per company standards and policies
– Capture customer orders, and process deposits for orders
– Actively promote Fanatics Rewards Programme, and process
– Cash up according to company procedures and policies
– Assume full responsibility for divergences and errors in sales processes
– Sign necessary paperwork – as per company procedures: re-prints, cash-ups and float control sheets
– Secure floats issued at all times
– Following all credit card procedures as outlined in the company operations manual
– Saturday and Sunday work is required
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Matric/ NQF level 4
Knowledge
– Interest in books
– Good general knowledge (art, music, etc.)
– Knowledge of sales procedures
Skills
– Computer literate
– Strong Customer Focus
– Ability to work under pressure
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to work overtime
Attributes
– Approachable
– People orientated
– Experience in Retail Environment preferable
– Organised
– Ability to work under pressure
– Previous experience in working with tills and cashing up
