Important Changes to the Exclus1ves Online Catalogue

.
To our valued Exclus1ves Online customers,

On the 1st of March 2013, the Exclus1ves.co.za catalogue will see major changes: we will be saying goodbye to our film, music and games sections and introducing three new sections: Audiobooks, Stationery and Gifts and Special Offers.

What does this mean for me?

  • No orders for items in the film, music and games categories will be accepted after the 28th of February.
  • If you pre-ordered a game due out later than February, we will have to cancel your order but you will get a full refund. We’ll be in touch soon!
  • Items in the film, music and games categories that are in your bag or wishlist on 28 February will be cleared on 1 March – be sure to purchase them before then.
  • You’ll keep all your Smileys and Discount Stickers earned as a result of Sticker activity related to film, music and games.
  • Your full order history will remain intact.

If you have any questions about these changes, please contact us on Twitter, post on our Facebook wall, call us on +27 11 7980111, leave a comment in the thread below or email socialmedia@exclusives.co.za and we’ll do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible.

Watch out for exciting new promotions and a renewed focus on online bookselling from March 2013!

Thanks for your continued support

    horrible news indeed
how are we supposed to buy films etc now, when the nearest branch is a four hour drive away

This is sad news because I loved the peace of mind of getting my CDs and DVDs from Exclusive Books online. The CDs were generally cheaper than in normal music stores and it was much easier to get hold of certain CDs on Exclusive Books online without having to drive around or go in store to look for the CD.
I understand that there’s a reason behind the shift but I hope you will one day revisit the idea and bring back gaming, music and films to your website. It was great to have a one stop shop.

      Hi Nicolette,

Thank you for taking the time to write in. We were sorry to see those sections go – it wasn’t an easy decision to make. But we hope you’ll still shop with us and we look forward to seeing you online :)
