Last week 40 happy winners made their way to our stores on Friday afternoon, proud winners of the famous trolley dash. With some of our winners racking up over R12,000 in prizes, this may be the biggest book competition in South Africa.

And now we’re giving away another dash! We will be running this competition from 10am, 30th of January until 3pm! Winners will be chosen at random and will be announced at 4pm. To enter, all you have to do is the following:

1. Go to Exclus1ves.co.za and find a product with a red trolley sticker on it, like the sticker to the left here.  We have hidden 100 of them across the site.

2. Copy the link to the product from the address bar into the comment box below, and add in the name of the store you’d like to do your dash at. We will be picking winners at random from the comment thread. 

3.  You can enter as many times as you like, but each entry must contain a different product from the website

Terms and conditions apply:

- Winners must be available to do their dashes at the store of their choice on Friday afternoon, from 12pm onwards.
-The prize is limited to the books that are part of the Summer Sale Promotion only.
- The winners will only be allowed to make use of Exclusive Books plastic bags to collect their winnings. No trolleys,  baskets, strollers or other receptacles may be used. The plastic bags will be rung up free of charge.
-The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Exclusive Books reserves the right to change the prize.
-Personal information collected will not be shared with any third party.

Margie Orford, an award-winning journalist and internationally acclaimed writer, is the author of the Clare Hart series. Her novels have been translated into nine languages. She was born in London and grew up in Namibia, the setting for Blood Rose, her highly acclaimed second novel in the series. A Fulbright Scholar, she was educated in South Africa and the United States. She is Executive Vice-President of South African PEN, the patron of Rape Crisis and of the children’s book charity, the Little Hands Trust.^[1]

Liz McGregor was educated at Wykeham School in Pietermaritzburg and the University of Cape Town. McGregor is a veteran author and journalist who started off her career on leading South African newspapers including the Sunday Times and the Rand Daily Mail before subsequently moving to Britain where she worked for the Guardian as deputy editor of the Comment and analysis section for several years.

She also worked as a freelance journalist in South Korea for two years but in December 2002, she returned to South Africa. She has co-edited and contributed to two collections of essays: At Risk and Load-shedding: Writing On and Over the Edge of South Africa and is the author of Khabzela: The Life and Times of a South African. McGregor is also the author of Touch, Pause, Engage! a book which explores the world of South African rugby.
