Overview of Impact of U.S. Government Shutdown on Shippers :
Please note the below information / update has to do with CBP (Customs in the USA)
The U.S. Federal Government shutdown has affected several government transportation-related agencies which may impact worldwide shipping ability to expedite the processing of your shipments.
This update is not carrier specific – all carriers like DHL, UTI etc. are affected equally.
Fortunately CBP will remain open, however is obviously impacted as other U.S. government agencies they may rely on for services will be shut down.
Hopefully the interruption will not be major, but please do note that the shipping and delivery of your goods from the USA are could be delayed.
